{"id":10352,"date":"2024-09-16T09:01:55","date_gmt":"2024-09-16T09:01:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nbfislamic.ae\/national-bank-of-fujairah-participates-in-ruya-careers-2\/"},"modified":"2025-02-17T09:21:20","modified_gmt":"2025-02-17T09:21:20","slug":"nbf-enhances-its-capital-composition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nbfislamic.ae\/ar\/nbf-enhances-its-capital-composition\/","title":{"rendered":"NBF enhances its capital composition"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"intro-text\">\n<div class=\"intro-text\">\n<div class=\"intro-text\">\n<div class=\"intro-text\">\n<p><strong>16 September 2024:<\/strong> Following the approval of NBF\u2019s shareholders, through a special\u00a0resolution at the General Assembly Meeting (GAM) held on 26 June 2024, and the\u00a0necessary regulatory approvals, NBF successfully issued Additional Tier 1 capital\u00a0securities (\u201cAT1 capital\u201d), amounting to USD ($) 275 million (AED 1.01 billion)\u00a0today as part of strengthening of its capital structure supporting its business and\u00a0operational strategy and refinancing of the existing AT1 capital securities of USD ($) 350\u00a0million which have been called for settlement on the first call date.<\/p>\n<p>The new issuance has been privately placed with the Government of Fujairah. The capital\u00a0instruments allow for the mandatory conversion into ordinary shares, at a ratio of AED\u00a02.85:1, within two years of this issuance.\u00a0Dr. Raja Easa Al Gurg, Deputy Chairperson said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Board appreciates the importance of maintaining robust and balanced capital position\u00a0and a well-diversified balance sheet to support future growth and long-term sustainable\u00a0performance.
